I went there last night for almost 5 hours. Most of the time was spent watching some fellas rack up insane scores on Donkey Kong and Ms. Pac Man.

I gotta have em on the show somehow. I asked one of them in regards to their 905,000 score on Donkey Kong why they don't submit their score to Twin Galaxies (www.twingalaxies.com). As it turns out, the DK machine is actually two roms (Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr). Therefore, Twin Galaxies would not accept this guys high score from this particular machine.

Another guy was playing Ms. Pac-Man. Not just any Ms. Pac-Man. This was crazy fast caffeine rush Ms. Pac-Man. Didn't stop this dude from flipping the machine with over 960,000 points. He couldn't get any more cause the game totally reset itself, leaving no sign of that, or his previous high score of 700,000 somethin points. After 900,000, the screen flips, literally. The playing area is upside down, but you still move around like it is right side up.

Crazy. But had a lot of fun. Thanks to Hank and William for that experience. Also got to meet Robert Welkner of Coin-Op TV. Hard to have a regular conversation. Barcade gets noisy after 9pm, apparently.
