Why is it that Kid Icarus never had a sequel? It was a good game! the only game that was released after it was in the Gameboy!

I'm sure somewhere out there, someone is working on a sequel for the PC, or some port or something. _________________ John R. Gibson

Indigo Prophecy! Although critics were not so kind this game is really awesome and has many interesting interactive play elements. We definitely need to see a sequel. Maybe not one that has been edited for the US audience. Indigo Prophecy came out it the UK and Europe as Fahrenheit, which had some scenes etc that the government felt were inappropriate for American audiences. Go figure! _________________ Elen sila lumenn' omentielvo

Agreed! What a unique game that one was. It was sort of a throwback to the old point-n-click adventure games on the pc.
I also wish they'd have done a sequel to Freedom Fighters(PS2,Xbox,GC). I love the cold war alternate history and the way you could easily command your squad of soldiers. _________________ "One of God's own prototypes. Indigo Prophecy-Agreed
I never played this game before. Matt had me play it the other day and I beat it 2 times in 3 days. Watched all 3 endings. Its a great game. One of my fav. for sure now. _________________ "Like my mask? Isn't it pretty? It raises the dead!" -Giles

Kid Icarus totally needs a sequel. Or at least a CD containing it's audio track I could illegally download and loop.
I'd love to see a sequel to Duke3d. Oh wait, thats right.... they promised it over 10 years ago.
In which case I can truly ask for a sequel to FULL FUCKING THROTTLE. |

'Die by the Sword'
It was a PC sword-fighting game. You played a Scottish Knight (at least I think he was scottish) fighting monsters.
It had a really interesting control scheme - you'd control the character with the keyboard and control sword movements with a flight-stick.
There was an arena mode, where it would just be battles (2-4) characters. I'm not sure if I ever completed the actual game (I think there was a glitch near the end that prevented me from finishing it) but I definitely spent hours just having one-on-one battles in the arena.
There was a lot of decent mods for it aswell. I remember I had a ridiculously overpowered Superman in the game at one point.
There was an expansion pack but never an actual sequel that I know of. Definitely worth trying (I'm not sure how well the controls would have dated, though). _________________ http://shanks.roger.googlepages.com/index.html

Ya know, this would make an interesting segment on a future VMTV episode.
