The British have every right to make fun of Americans. Look at what we're becoming.
And yet, Britain has just recently banned Michael Savage because of his own beliefs, but that's beside the point right now. I think this would make a good topic for a future episode, or even a future skit where video game characters start talking in text slang, and the ones who still speak proper english raise a fuss over it. _________________ If it's got wings, i can crash it!
I fuckin hate it! It sounds like they changed the voiceover that accompanies ads for upcoming Sci-Fi....oops, I mean SyFy shows....ugh, now I'm gonna have to shower to wash away the evil and stupidity.
I guarantee that slowly (not right away, these crafty swines need to slip sneaky shit in over time), this channel will go the way of G4. Remember when G4 was 24 hour video games. Granted, I didn't stay up all day to see what was on. Some shows I didn't care for. Over time, we got Cops, and movies that don't suck, or whatever else we got, and soon G4 became crap.
To me, even though Syfy is a made up word, it still screams to me stupidity. Now we're making up words. First it was adding the letter Z to words like Pets, Dogs, Cats and so on. Now, we're making up new words to grab a totally different audience that doesn't really like smart Science Fiction shows. You barely see any classic science fiction movies. It's all Original movies, which are horrible.
Think about Cartoon Network. In the early to mid 90's, I loved Cartoon Network, loved how they would air old stuff, and new stuff. The majority was Hanna Barbera; Birdman, Space Ghost, Impossibles, Scooby Doo, etc.
One day, Cartoon Network started airing these shitty cartoons done in Flash, and showing live action movies. Hello? It's Cartoon Network, air that shit someplace else, like NickToons (Ha!).
Sooner or later, Syfy will split into 2 different channels, like Cartoon Network spawned Boomerang. I like Boomerang. I can watch Justice League, and Dynomutt: Dog Wonder on the same channel.
I forsee a Sci-Fi classic (or something along those lines) where the true Sci-Fi fans will tune into. You'll get classic Sci-Fi shows like Six Million Dollar Man, Twilight Zone, Incredible Hulk. Hell, air the shows that only lasted 10-12 episodes. You guys (Sci-Fi) used to do that with Spider-Man and Gemini Man. In addition to these classics, you can also catch regular shows, like Eureka and Ghost Hunters, cause it won't be long before shows like that are pulled from Syfy cause it's not hip enough for the dumbass audiences they're trying to get. Pretty much any show that has too much intelligence is going to be pulled, or aired after midnight or some ungodly hour of the morning, where you'll be forced to set your DVR or Tivo to record these programs.
Before I conclude, someone explain to me why the hell can we find Wrestling (ECW) on a Sci-Fi channel? Wrestling isn't science fiction. Just fiction.
