Worlds of Power- Nintendo Books
Has anyone ever read these? I used to have the Bionic Commando book. I bought a few of these from Ebay, and will be talking about them in a future show.

Those are pretty cool. Are they guides?

Not guides, novels, but not like 300 page novels (don't remember how many pages they were). Basically, I had the Bionic Commando book back when I was 11 or 12, and I think these books were within that age range, figure 9-12 years old. So I will be reading the books I won on Ebay, and talking a bit about them on the show, comparing them to the actual games story or plot.

I've got the "Before Shadowgate" book for which I was going to write a review some years back. Never got around to putting together the review and can't remember much about the book other than it being a Prequal. That leads me to believe that it wasn't excruciatingly bad, but not anything remarkable either.
I'll give it a re-read and come back with my thoughts on it soon or at the time of your review. I also found my ZORK 'The Forces of Krill' "A What-do-I-do-now Book." Should make for a nice small Sunday morning distraction. Fun stuff!

Why not submit a review to the show, Atari? It would rock to have you on the show.
Come on, guys. You can even submit a written review to something, game, movie, show, and we'll try to read it if it's not too long winded.

Worlds of PowerI had Simon's Quest and Wizards and Warriors. They were interesting and I remembered that they had a game tip card insert in each book!
