Wireless stuff is failing me this week. I'm pissed
Let's start with the internet. Some of you know from chatting with me off of the forums that I tend to sign in and out of AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc, cause my internet is wireless, and located in the basement, and....oop, there it goes again...arg....ok, we're back. So, if you've chatted with me before, you know that I'm always in and out suddenly, and fuck, there it goes again...ok, it's back. So, Launchpad25 and I just started chatting. Sorry about the response times, bro. That's wireless internet.
Now we come to wireless mics. If you've seen past episodes since Episode 7 of the show, you'll notice I'm sportin a wireless clip on mic on my shirt. That's why you've been seeing me wear the same 3 or 4 shirts lately. It's hard to find a shirt where the mic won't be as conspicuous. Well, my wireless mic broke yesterday. The wire/antenna part snapped off, and I'm not gettin any reception. I ordered a wired clip on mic off of EBay for $8, and should be getting it soon. Since it's wired, I won't have to worry about testing audio levels every time to see if I got reception. But this week, anything wireless has not been my friend, and it's gotten me in a sore mood.
Makes me glad I don't own a cell phone.

I try to stay away from wireless anything. I've got a wireless router but I only use it for rare laptop usage occasions. My Wii is wireless too but I don't do games over it, just downloading updates and Virtual arcade games.
Wireless is one of the biggest pains in the ass. For example, wireless controllers for my Xbox360 and Wii are the hardest things to set up when the batteries die. It takes forever for those damn things to "sync" correctly.

I've moved to my sisters laptop, which is wireless, but the router is in the next room, so it's pretty powerful. My regular set up is in the basement, and I have a USB wireless deal, where I have to run a couple of USB extension cords through the basement ceiling, and I'm still getting booted.
Once I get my own place, I'm sure that'll change, besides that, no more wood paneling. LOL

I recently picked up Guitar Hero 3 for my PS2 and it came with the wireless guitar controller. It was screwy and I took the game back and got just the game. I then went to gamestop and bought a GH2 controller that plugged in like a normal controller. Me and my lady have been rocking the 2 player mode for the last few days. I despise wireless controllers. They've been making them since the NES days and I don't know anyone who prefers them to traditional controllers.
