Winter-een-masWinter-een-mas, a celebration of games and gamers. January 25th-31st.http://www.wintereenmas.com/ Does anybody else celebrate this? It started off as a joke in the Ctrl-Alt-Delete webcomic and sort of turned into an annual tradition. Today me and my friends did some stuff. We had some cake and played some games - nothing too hardcore, just a couple of rounds of Geometry Wars and Guitar Hero II. Then we played through Mega Man X completely, complete with the hadoken and without cheating (unless the hadoken counts as cheating). Later in the week we plan on doing something bigger, maybe a 72-hour Zelda marathon. |
