Wikipedia Link for VMTV. Look quick before it's taken downhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Masters_TV
Won't take long, I don't have good references like everyone else has.

Is Rau actually still on the show?
I've been away for a while so I don't know the story, but I haven't seen him on any of the shows lately.

He was last seen in the January show, but he's very busy with work and family, but watch for him, or listen for him in Season 3.

What I really need (but don't have) is a mention in a third party publication, according to what Wikipedia says. Mega 64 and the Angry Nerd have been written about in magazines, and have been on television. Those are more reliable sources. Everyone has a Youtube account, but I don't see people like "The really happy go lucky video game review Jew" (totally made up) having his own Wiki link.

I'm surprised it's still up, lol.
I remember a while back, even the Angry Video Game Nerd had a really hard time keeping a Wiki page up. He wasn't the one starting them though, it was fans at his ScrewAttack forum.

RecognitionI'm surprise that Attack of the Show on G4 doesn't say anything. They talk about other Video game Internet shows (I think Kevin mentioned the Angry Video Game Nerd.) I hate the AVGN's show, but I love yours. I'm glad Matt is still on staff because I too was wondering. Matt brings a cool Geek quotient (That's a compliment Matt because I'm a geek too!) to the show. I hope you keep up the good work in Season 3!

I've seen the type of...stuff that Attack of the Show airs. Not sure I want to be in the same category. They seemed to be interested in viral videos (can't tell you how much I dislike that dancer video where the guy kicked the little baby when she came on stage).
We are simply not popular enough to get a mention anywhere. And that's ok..
Matt will do his best to show up in Season 3.
Show your support, guys. Remember, we all have VMTV email addresses.
E-Mail Matt Rau at
matt@videomasterstv.com
Let him know you're supportin him.

Baby Kick ReplyThat was horrible! I also saw the Cobra and the kid video too and my Roomate and I thought it was awful that everyone was laughing! I like Attack because of the variety, but I watch it for the tech (and Layla Kayleigh!). You guys I watch rabidly and I anxiously await for the next episode! John, build a cloning machine so we get your show weekly! [/img]

It's encoding as I type this. Actually, this is the second time around. Found an error 11 minutes in, good thing I saw this instead of 8 hours later after the encoding process.
I'm shooting for release tomorrow, if THIS encode goes well. You can be sure it will be this week.

Dammit! Apparently, someone ELSE has to make a wiki page, not the creator. Cause it counts as "self promotion". Well, how else are people going to know about the goddamn show?
We don't have thousands of fans or members, the DVD's aren't exactly flyin off the freakin shelves. Even though I am grateful that there are people spreadin the word about VMTV, it's very very few.
This is usually how shows like this get discovered. Word of mouth. To be honest, I'm gettin kinda tired of the "self promoting" myself. Shows like the Angry Nerd, and Mega 64 didn't get discovered because Rocco or James sent emails/spam/invites out saying "hey, I got a show, check it out". No.
One person saw it, that person told their friend, who told their friends, and so on.
Sure, I realize VMTV is not for the generation who doesn't know a 99 cent price tag from a 99 dollar price tag.
I never had to worry about this 10 years ago. The only one watching the show...was me.

No surprise that the administrator 'Stifle' deleted it. He's 'stifled' pretty much every effort I've made to contribute to Wikipedia articles. So now I don't contribute at all. Good job at keeping editors away, wikiadmin.

What I'd like to know is how other articles stay up, the ones written about other reviewers?
Who writes those?
