I was a pure Gameboy kid back in the day. There were probably a few years when Gameboy was the only machine I had for games. Mario Land 2 was probably the first Mario game I ever played and Wario Land is definitely one of my favourite games, easily as good as the console Mario platformers (I really liked Wario Land 1, I wasn't so keen on the others for some reason, though).
Wario Land was a huge surprise. Wario should have been a throwaway character, like Wart or whoever the enemy in Super Mario Land was, definitely not deserving of his own game. But they made the game and it was great.
Anyway, It's good to see that Wario Land is finally on a console.
The graphics look amazing (probably the best sprite-work I've seen, since Yoshi's Island) and I trust Nintendo with the controls (but I really hope there's not too much 'shaking').

Hmmm, looks interesting.

Got this today.
It's a really decent 2D platformer. The hand-drawn graphics are great and the music is pretty good too.
I've done the first two worlds. I don't think it quite measures up to Super Mario World or Yoshi's Island (SNES) but it's definitely the best Wario game I've played (I've only played 1 and 4 extensively).
Definitely a keeper, but if you're not hardcore into platformers, wait for a price-drop.
