VMTV on Retroware TV?

Hey John have you ever checked out Retroware TV? It's sorta like ScrewAttack but a bit more in tune to what your show is about -- retro stuff. One notable show that's hosted there is the Happy Video Game Nerd.

Seems like a good site that could get your show more exposure. I was thinking about sending them a heads up about VMTV if it was all right with you. Unless you wanted to do it.

Actually, I am very familiar with RWTV. I have their DVD, and I joined their chat session with Ito a few nights ago. Fun stuff.

I am registered on their forums, I plugged the show a few times, but not much happened. Ito actually mentioned getting an email from me. I must have forgot I sent one to him about the show. This must have been recently, but with my memory, and a whole buncha shit goin on, it must have slipped my mind.

Looks like RWTV has recruited a show called Substance TV to their family. I knew they were taking submissions, but I guess I thought VMTV wasn't popular enough to affiliate with others.

It would be pretty lame of them to only affiliate with popular shows. They should be looking for shows with quality, which VMTV has plenty of.

I guess the only drawback I can see with VMTV being on RWTV is that it has a lot of segments that have nothing to do with video games. Although if that's a problem you could always make a "RWTV version" of VMTV that only includes the video game stuff, and you can continue to stream the full shows on YouTube.

I don't know. It's a shame since I want to see VMTV get the recognition it deserves.

I'm not sure what their policy is, I just don't think we're big enough to be affiliated with. You got a point about the whole video game bit. Considering they're all about video games, it would be difficult to squeeze movies, comics, and other unrelated material in there.

The trouble with gigs like that is the fact you usually have to answer to someone else. If we had a producer, let's say, that producer would "suggest" to you what works (or might work) and what will not work. They may also suggest that we be compensated for each show. Trust me, both my father and my boss at work think I'm basically an idiot for not making money off of this.

What people don't understand is I don't do this for Fortune and Glory (Thank you Temple of Doom). I do it for myself.
