Video Masters TV- Season 4, Episode 1- August, 2009Yes, I know. I'm waaaaay off. This episode won't happen for quite some time. Just thought I'd wet your appetite a bit.So far, we've got a NEW Play View, and a new game review in the works. Still looking around for a Grumble & Glorify, but I'd like to do two of them. No word yet on what everyone else is doing, plus I'm gathering (or trying to gather) new faces for the new Season. No one is replacing anyone. I just like having a BIG team of people to work with. Keep your eyes on this spot for a trailer. |

I think Season 4 is going to have a LOT of new faces. I just got a review yesterday. The fella that's doing it is sending me a revision in time. Another guy wishes to join from across the pond (meaning not of the US, folks).
Finally, someone else who wants to be a part of the crew/family is a forum member, a good friend, and someone who has already been in a video game review show from a while back. I'm sure like all the newcomers who have graced us with their presence (Matthew, Bree, and Chris) that you'll enjoy them. They will have a lot to bring to the table, as you'll find out in August. Which leaves a good question for me to ponder? With all the newcomers, are we going to have time to air the VMTV Meet-Up in the same episode, or do I make it into the June, 2009 episode? lol |

Hmmmm, well I don't know if Bree, Matt and I all have played a same game, but it is quite possible, and if we could collaborate it would be a TRIFORCE of power muhahhahahhaha lol. But it would awesome though if we could figure something. |

It's the start of August. We're part-way done with the show. Just need to film Earl's stuff, and possibly create a few new intros and graphics. I think Matthew and Bree are workin' on stuff.
This episode will definitely be out on time, and we have plenty of content for the next few shows. Trust me, I know some of you may miss the 40-43 minute shows, but at least now you'll be getting the show EVERY month. |

So far, the episode is 21 minutes. Usually, that's your standard half hour episode, though there's the Mini Reviews and Attract Mode, Earl's new segment, and Grumble and Glorify to add. We're lookin at another 4-6 minutes.
I think this first episode will be 25-28 minutes, give or take a minute or two. I definitely want to put together a teaser trailer, cause the episode will be done pretty early. I may release earlier than the 22nd. We'll see. |

Just got Matthew's stuff. Can't wait to edit this later. I'm still waiting on some Mini-Reviews from one of our new guys.
I need to edit my Grumble & Glorify together, though the video won't import into Premiere. Bastard. So I gotta find a way around this. I think we're 85% done here. |

Almost finished. The Mini-Reviews should be arriving today (so I was told, hehe).
So we're looking at 96% now. Everything is done. All I have to do is import these Mini-Reviews into the show, add the graphics. If all goes well, I'll be rendering tonight. What I also want to do, now that I freed up some space on my PC, is start rendering these to DVD format, so once Season 4 is over, I can start on the DVD. I know I'm missing Seasons 2 and 3, but at least I've learned from previous mistakes not to make a DVD ready video after each episode. |

He is one of the organizers of the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. This gentleman has got a massive video gaming collection, so be sure to check out Part 1 of his interview. Matthew will look at Captain America Reborn comics, and so much more. |

Great episode guys. Welcome to the show Rich, great review of Castlevania 4! I never knew that was technically a remake.
So I was drooling at the guy with all the Atari stuff, wish I could find someone like that near here. Matt I never enjoyed comics but I did find the little vignette about Captain America to be interesting. I remember when they said he was being killed off, was that really a few years ago already!? Time flies.... John I think Earl's new segment is a perfect fit. By any chance, do you know where I can find Chasing Ghosts though? I've been dying to see that for what seems like an eternity but there is no DVD out and I don't have premium cable. |

Love the retro collection. I want a Yar's Revenge calender! Castlevania IV review was great. Excellent review to an excellent game. Great job everybody. I'm off to try out that Watchmen flash game. |

Once again, great episode. That game collection was amazing. I like Earl's new segment. Maybe i can e-mail him some future recommendations for future episodes. However, D.U.K.E's brief comment to the viewers seemed a bit rude, but watching Chuck Norris 'dancing' to the 70's music gave me a chuckle. Too bad we couldn't see him stealing someone's bike.  'Farting Preacher' seemed like something you'd never expect to see recommended on this show, but it was still a neat find none the less.

LOL, actually, Matt didn't record that DUKE line intentionally for the show. It was recorded last year, and he totally ad-libbed. I just thought it was funny enough to use for the ending. |

Just watched it just now, great stuff guys! Loved that collection, just wow! Makes you really jealous, although I wouldn't know where to place half of that stuff lol.
Also great review from Rich, really enjoyed it and it was really well paced and covered a lot of ground. The slow down is a nasty for sure! Totally screws up your flow in the game 
Loved the segment from Earl, some great recommendations in there and some I will have to check out. |

Matt, your Capt America review made me drool heavily! I am not into mainstream Super Hero comics at all, but now that I`ve seen your segment, now I pretty much want to learn all about the history of some of the major characters, mostly about Capt America! Great review, and welcome, Rich! I got the classic NES castlevania and playing it on my DS recently. I had never played it so thought I should do so, but it is really hard! Seeing you review #4 is making me want to take another stab at it and go through all the games in the series. hmmm. |
