Again, not ready yet, though some stuff originally intended for the April show will carry over into this. It makes sense to even out the length of each show. If the previous one was 41 minutes, and the next is 25 minutes, something is lacking. However, if the next show is 44 minutes, or 36, that's better.
I do know we got 2 reviews waiting to be edited, plus one I need to film myself. I'm carrying a Trailer Trash over from the previous show. I got a Video Vision, and a Play View planned.
I'm sure the May show is gonna be BIG. I'd really like to do a June and July show. Plus, Matthew and Bree are coming down (or up) to NYC. Maybe, along with Jason, we'll film something together.
I sorta miss the old days when I filmed EVERYONE at my place. I figure the 4 of us can be on camera for a few minutes, do a round table thing, or something, passing a microphone around. Who knows?
We'll discuss ideas when the time comes.

I can't wait. Sounds like another good show.

I've got a GREAT Grumble & Glorify planned. I won't disclose what it is, but I'll give you a hint.
Interesting. I've always had a soft spot for that skit.

This will be the last episode of the season. It'll give us more time to prep for Season 4, and plan for the big Meet-Up in June (hopefully that's still on).
I really wanted to do 3 more shows, but that means we'd all have to pull reviews and shit out of our ass for 3 months.
Honestly, I love doin the show, but I don't think I can pull that off, and I know the crew loves submitting, and contributing and all, but that's a bit much. And then, to submit reviews for the next season. Too much.
Trust me, the May show will be BIG! May be that hour long show I've been trying to do for a year now.
We'll see.
John Gibson
Keep your eye on the intro. When the show is up, someone tell me if they notice something about it.
It's minor, so pay close attention to certain scene(s).
I just started putting stuff together. Got maybe close to 2 minutes done, haha.
I just gotta record voice, capture video, do a little encoding here and there, and we're set.
The show should be released sometime next week.
John Gibson
I'm glad I'm off Memorial Day. Plenty of time to put the show together.
No definite date set, but there is only editing left to do. No recording that I can think of.

Cool!
I can't wait! I've been pretty busy, but I always take time out for VMTV (And That Guy With The Glasses)!
John Gibson
Thought I had it. Found an ugly error that I just cannot ignore, so here goes encoding effort #2. I should be able to upload in the morning. Hopefully.
John Gibson
Alright, everything appears to look good. I didn't play the entire episode, but it's uploaded to Youtube, and it's on the site.
a PSP version will be released soon, and I'll put it on other streaming sites sometime today.
Enjoy! I hope you guys enjoyed the 3rd season. Sorry this one was so short.

The episode is fantastic. I still can't believe what you can do with what we send you. You can tell I haven't done a voice over since Zombies Ate my Neighbors. Great job everybody!

I don't remember filming that.
Oh, wait ...................

You still did great in the review. If you ever feel like you're getting rusty, practice. Write a short paragraph of some bullshit game review (Ex: Indiana Jones & the Night Before for the X-Box).
As embarrassing as this sounds, I used to practice in front of a mirror. I usually tend to do a lot of repeat hand gestures.
Everyone who has come onboard from the beginning, 2006, is still learning. Even after 15 years, there's stuff I'm still learning.
Look on the bright side, you, both Matt's and Chris are better than the two other guys that were on the old show.
Black Flag NC
Outstanding!
Abbott and Costello kick ass. I love Bela Lugosi, but I wish Karloff had been in the film as well. Hey John, did those Rocketeer games "tickle your rocket?" Sorry brutha, couldn't resist.
Your wall-o-action figures was impressive but the Charlie Brown ones creep me out. Chris, you're so right about the Atari 2600 art. Those carts are worth owning just for that. I wish I had a framed print of the artwork on Asteroids:
Sci-fi goodness
You're right on about Frogger. Why can't we just get an updated streamlined version of classic games that keep the basic gameplay intact? Centipede on the Dreamcast is unplayable for more than 60 seconds and Defender on PS2 was turned into a generic action-flight sim. At least the 360 got R-Type Dimensions which was done pretty well.
Great episode everyone!
John Gibson
I feel bad, I didn't even mention Chris' reviews anywhere in the episode synopsis. I'll have to fix that, cause the reviews were great.
Stephanie had asked how you recorded Frogger on GBC. I had said that you probably emulated, and did a TV out, and then back again.
Am I right?
Chris
Hey John, yeah anything coming from NES, Gameboy, Sega Master System, or Atari are coming from a Dreamcast CD of some sort. For the Gameboy, I think it is "GNUBOY" or something like that. They are old emulators, I think I put those CD's together back in 2002.
And I watched the episode last night, it was fantastic stuff! I was entertained. Matt and Bree, the Harvey Birdman stuff was great in spite of the fact that I had never seen the show before. I really enjoyed John's look at the action figures, I'm a fan of the Peanuts and those figures were cool (I almost bought them myself when they were around, I should've).
There's so much more I wanted to write about that came to me while I was watching the episode. Oh yeah, He-man on Youtube?? I'll definitely have to check that out.
I've been playing Punch Out as well and I'm really enjoying it. The game is definitely more of a tribute to the series than anything. Kudos to Nintendo for not trying to be all PC and stuff, all the stereotypes remain and it can be pretty funny at times. I love how Bear Hugger chugs jars of syrup.
John, you used to live in Maryland? Whereabouts? I am from Carroll County. You know Westminster? I think I saw something about the Ghost Hunters coming to York, PA in October (I'll have to double check). If so, you and Stephanie should come on down and we'll go meet them all together, maybe film it, haha.
John Gibson
Yes, I am very familiar with Carroll County and Westminster. I used to live in Finksburg, no more than 30 seconds away from a place called "The Whistlestop". Dunno if that's still there anymore.
I'll mention the Ghost Hunters to Steph. If we're able to, we'll come.

Well good grief John, Finksburg/Gamber/Westminster area used to be my frequent stomping grounds, I grew up there and lived there from 78-96. Still visit every few months. I played baseball at Finksburg, my church was in Gamber, and used to go to the Gamber Carnival every year (mainly for the funnel cake and people watching). I went last year actually to that carnival again, it was like it had never changed.
Westminster is booming right now in terms of retail and restaurants. It's not like when I was a kid and all we had was "Toys Top" and Cranberry Mall. What a small world.
John Gibson
Favorite place to eat: Cactus Willie's. Good food.
Also went to a flea market in Westminster, picked up a Super NES and Super Mario World for 10 bucks, the Rambo cartoon for 50 cents, and plenty of little trinkets, and old toys.
You cannot find this stuff in New York, not this good.
Splodge
Whoah, I haven't been around here in a while.
Finally watched the episode. Good work, everyone - another quality episode.
Outtrigger looks good enough. I don't have many Dreamcast games so that might be one to look out for. I like the visual style - it's a lot more colourful than most modern FPSs.
Glad you mentioned 'There Will Be Brawl'. It's a good series with a lot of injokes and decent production values (for a free web series anyway).
