FINALLY! Hopefully, we can have the April show out on time. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, enjoy the show, everyone.

At least now we can move forward with the April show.

Great show this month, guys. Worth the wait. I forgot all about that Karate Kid cartoon. What did you think of the Back to the Future cartoon, John? I"ve got all the episodes on my computer. I'm a huge BTTF fan, and I remember how happy I was when the BTTF series started on CBS. I wish there were more cartoons like BTTF on today. That series taught kids a little about history and science. I always loved the segments with Christopher Lloyd.
man, do i remember TMNT on the nintendo. I gotta tell ya, you weren't doin too bad there. But yeah, once you lose leo and don, you're pretty much screwed in the game. I remember I had to use game genie codes just to get to the third level. that seaweed is a nightmare.
Well, keep up the great work guys.
John Gibson
Speaking of seaweed, wait until part 2 of TMNT.
I remember Back to the Future the toon. The guy who voiced Homer Simpson (Dan...can't spell his last name) did the voice for Doc Brown. It was a pretty cool show. Hey, if you got all the episodes, link us up, buddy. We'll review it in the future.

Nice. Better late than never folks. Now we gotta get started on April!!! Jason did great with his review. Liked your Karate Kid stuff, John. I always sucked at TMNT, too.
ET is still haunting me!

Weighing in at a WHOPPING 37 minutes! Unprecedented!
TMNT was hard at times, and really aggrevating. But even I got to the point to where I could beat it. It wasn't the best game in the world, but I respected how the developers tried to break the mold with the game style. Not many games do that successfully as I think this one did. The biggest gripe I had was that I think they tried to adhere to the early comic book art, which is an awesome idea. But the style turned out too muddy on some of the monsters. You couldn't quite tell what many of them were and a lot of them weren't from the show OR the comic book. You were kind of left with the generic penis and vagina beast syndrome that many NES and even SNES games suffered from.
The seaweed wasn't my biggest problem - I kept screwing up inside the Technodrome. That was a bitch of a game.
I haven't played it, but I figured that TF2 would suck. I mean - how could it not? Team Fortress Classic had the damn thing down to an art. That was an awesome game - I'm even converting a map or two from TFC to DooM2.

Considering how little I am seen in this episode, I'm surprised the show went for this long, but that's great. I'm so fortunate I had Matthew, Bree and Jason pitching in this month. I was going to add another segment in there, but I just wanted to get the show out of the way.
I may have mentioned, we'll be ending Season 2 in May, so there will be something planned for that. I can't wait!
When I used to play the Turtles game, I could get through the seaweed no sweat. In Part 2, well, you'll have to see.

Dan Castellaneta is his name. Anyways, great episode. Loved the 'E.T.' skit at the beginning! (That game is pure evil!) Huge props for using the 'DuckTales' game on 'Beat The Boss'. I loved that game, and i would love to see it show up on the Virtual Console. I use to own 'Ninja Turtles' on the NES, and i do remember how frustrating that game was. Especially the 'electric seaweed' level. So you can't really blame the Angry Videogame Nerd, and The Irate Gamer for trashing it. As far as i'm concerned, the arcade games will always be superior to the NES game.
I also liked Matthew's rant on RPG elitists, and how they look down on people who buy anything that's not made by Square/Enix. I'm no fan of RPGs, nor am i a fan of sports games, but i don't look down on people who like those games. (Though i do question people's fascination with 'American Idol', but that's another topic for another time.) the RPG elitists need to get off their high horse, and try other types of games. Not every 'great game' has to be 1000 hours long, have stunning graphics, or have deep, involved game play. A great game has to be 'FUN'! That's all that matters. weather it's an RPG, or a simple puzzle game.

I liked what you said about Indiana Jones
And we all agree that all though i can imagine certain amounts of censorship is needed from time to time, NOT every time.
Most of us can agree that they are going a little TOO far whit some of the censoring they are doing now a days.

My thoughts...
The intro: really, REALLY bad. I'm not sure what it was trying to be, but it wasn't anything
Your audio seems better
Matt's rant is great, he couldn't be more right.
Attract mode didn't suck.
Bree's review is good, she only needs to be a little less stiff in the parts where ehs's talking over gameplay. The parts with talking to the camera are more natural.
the black and white review: mehhh
well, i knew the trivia question, that's something
dunno what's up with the commercial
the mini review for ms pac mc...meh
timber: pretty good review actually
"of course i rock" the show needs more matt
his reviews are rather fun, lose the background music though, the segment is good, it doesn't need a soundtrack
G&G: never saw this show. review is fine
the playview...
the box with you in it blocks so much gameplay, just use a voiceover next time
you got owned pretty hard, and it WAS very funny, but god, that BOX
she does look nude heh
beat the boss, been lookig forward to seeing this.
rather underwhelming, with the weird boxes and background, making the entire thing look very distorted. the music was cool though.
okay another review, good to see jay again.
his reviews are usually rather good, and this one is no exception
monthly spew...
god, reminds me of when they removed the guns from ET and replaced them with walkie talkies. you know what they were saying over them? "where are our guns?"
lego bla bla bla
so above average episode, but that's pretty much it
Black Flag NC
Wow, thanks Necro! I do rock!
Many thanks to Mr. John Gibson, without whom neither Bree or I would be doing this. We're very proud to be a part of VMTV. Love ya, Brutha John!!

Funny, for a late show, I thought it was pretty good. Not all aspects of the show are going to be emmy award winning, whether it's the content, hosts, skits, etc.
Otherwise, the show was fun to produce. Everyone did their stuff very well.
Onward and upward to greater glory, my friends.

This was a great episode. I love the conclusion of the Mario/Luigi/Man-Eating Princess Saga...or is it... Great work Jay, Bree and Matthew on your reviews. I'm definitely going to have to check out the Silent Hill Comics. I love the old Police Academy commercial. In fact I like all of the retro-commercials that John puts in the show. It brings me back to when I was watching cartoons on a Saturday eating some cereal in front of the TV.
Of course I am very excited about Indiana Jones and I can't wait to try Lego Indy. I like the PlayView I hate the damn seaweed in that game. Damn that nude April...distracting the Turtles.
Timber was fun to test out (never played it before). The Ducktales Beat the Boss was awesome. I remember the game so well. The Black and White game looks pretty fun. Especially when you get to slap your monkey or throw the person in the water.
Great work everyone ! (especially John, I know that you were sick and you tried so hard to get the show together and out as soon as you could.) Awesome show. I cannot wait for the next one.

It better be. I'm gettin tired of pulling those skits out of my ass. I was supposed to put a story below like "Luigi is being chased by his angry bride, Peach, but fear not, Toad directs him to a pipe where he'll be safe. Or IS IT?", but I know people don't read, so I figured "screw it, let them figure out what the hell is going on".
I'm glad some people found it entertaining.

Every episode I watch the better they get. Thank you so much for your help john. I am very glad you can do something with the crap I send you.
John Gibson
You're welcome. We're all getting better. I was going to link you to some videos of VG personalities, but it's best to adapt your own, rather than try to imitate someone else.
We had that TMNT game on the Commodore 64. The furthest I ever got was the driving stage in the Turtle Van (Level 3 or 4, I think). I really liked it back then, but then again I hadn't really been exposed to alot of the great Nintendo games at that point.
I partially agree with the rant about mainstream gaming. It's fairly lame to look-down on mainstream gamers ("gramers"?) - they are supporting the industry. I probably prefer more niche stuff but I do like alot of mainstream games. I'm definitely going to try the new GTA and I've played a couple of rounds of Halo. It's not great but, it's decent enough.
I still think sports games suck, though*. It is pretty much EA rereleasing the same game every year, with a slightly different player roster and updated graphics.
Having said that, If I do see a sports game that tries to push the envelope I will give it a try. I hear the new Pro Evolution Soccer on Wii uses the control scheme well, playing almost like an RTS. I hate soccer, even in real life, but i might give it a chance if it is in any way innovative.
