Tower RE - Japanese SMB Hackhttp://betaworld.hp.infoseek.co.jp/tre.htmlThe site is in Japanese but you can find the ips there without too much trouble. It's probably the best SMB hack I've played. You play as Luigi climbing through the floors of a tower. Each level is a floor. It's got a decent difficulty curve. The first few floors are fairly easy but it gets tough later on. I'm on floor 15 now and its fairly hard (but not frustratingly so). I'm playing it on my GP2X and am using alot of save states. I probably wouldn't have gotten so far otherwise. It's got a couple of nice features (a working hammer bros. suit etc.) and is alot of fun to play. No boss battles so far. I'm guessing there will be something when (if) I get to the top of the tower. Check it out. Well worth a review, if your going to cover rom hacks on the show. |

Hmm, something I should take a look at. We are going to talk about a rom hack this month in Episode 15, so that's a sign of things to come. |
