Hello all, name is Coldguy, if you recognize the name/icon combination, yes it is the same guy. Now I would like to do a little plug of a site I have been working on. Don't worry this is not the only reason I am here, but I would like to get the word out and hope that I can get some more info on it.
Here is the goal: get as many retro game stores (as in places you can go in, visit, and buy things in) around the world. It started as a small idea I had, however after posting it in various forums got a lot of help and it is pretty impressive that was featured on Destructoid. So I made a little blog for easy tracking of information about the map, and you can check it out here.
On there you can go directly to the map and see all 500+ stores around the world, including Guam! If you know of any let me know either in here or in the blog, if you think is cool and have ideas on how to make it better by all means I am open to suggestions. If you want to help put things on the map that is awesome too because I could use all the help I can get.
Thanks for Reading and have a nice day.

That's a great idea, man. Welcome to the forums!
Here in Salt Lake City, we have a chain of stores called Play n Trade that has everything from 8-bit to next gen. The store's are small so it's sort of slim pickings but cool none the less.

Oh do I know Play N trade, I entered all 150 stores on the map. Also speaking of Utah you have another chain of retro stores that is locally owned. No word on how good they are, who knows maybe you can check it out.

You're talking about Greywhale. I saw that on your map. Greywhale is a bit more of a used cd/dvd place with gaming as an afterthought. They do have a few 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, PSX, and Saturn games, but it's slim pickings.

This is a great Project. I'll definitely be sure to check this site before I travel anywhere.
What the hell is up with Japan? You've only got one. When I was there, almost every game shop was a retro game shop. I brough back alot of cartridges.
I see you've got the one in Dublin. It's marked on your map as "Game Zone" but I'm fairly sure it's called "Game X Change". It looks like it's the same address.
That place is fairly small so there's rarely anything worth getting but sometimes there are a couple of gems. A couple of weeks ago I found Pilotwings and F-Zero for the SNES in there. He even gave me a bit of a discount. The prices are high but if you take shipping into account, it just about beats eBay.
They also had Home Alone for the SNES, which I almost bought based solely on John's review ... almost.

Okay, I see. I was just going by the small map on the site.
Good job. I really like this project.

Thanks, been working on it for some time now, currently trying some "experimental" things now to see if I can make it look better.
