The Dark TowerHas anyone ever read that series? I love it. I heard rumors of a movie adaptation. Apparently Stephen King wants JJ Abrams to make it.

I've read the entire series, a few times actually, I would recommend it to any fantasy fan.

The last three were so dissapointing. I was hoping for a huge battle with Roland and Flagg.

spoiler warning.....
Flagg was never meant to be a major enemy...but when you stop to think of it, there's no such thing as a big battle between roland and someone else. roland shoots the bad guy in the head, bad guy dies. anything outside of straight up combat and roland's out of his element (which is why patrick was so instrumental in the last battle with the crimson king.)
The way flagg went out was to show mordred as a major threat, and although roland took him down with a few bullets, oy paid the price.
