Talk about your Wii games!Ok, for those who don't know. I have a Wii, and Jakdin has a Wii, and Wii are having a ball (hyuck hyuck). The only games I currently own is Wii Sports, which as you all know comes with the unit, and I have Zelda: Twilight Princess, and I'm making good progress in the game. In order to keep up with titles just released, I'm renting some games from gamefly.com. Just got myself Trauma Center and Excitetruck. Both are crazy crazy games. TC keeps you on your toes cause you have to be precise with the remote, as opposed to swinging and throwing like in the sports games. ET is really quite good, and despite the fact I keep crashing into a tree, and all that, I keep coming back for more.
Watch for Wii reviews in upcoming shows, as well as classic reviews. Meanwhile, tell us what your favorite Wii games are, what you're currently playing, so forth.

is it really that much fun owning a Wii? I've played some Wii sports in a gamestore and it's fun but i think once the novelty wares off... ?

Yeah, Wii Sports is fun, but after a while, you get a little tired of it. My family however loves it to death. It's the only video game console they've played since Colecovision.
Owning the Wii is great. The price is absolutely a fair one, and you don't necessarily have to be connected via Wifi or whatever to enjoy the Wii, unlike the other consoles, where you have to put on a headset and yell at your TV. Not for me. I could get into a whole bit about it now, but I have to get to class.
Hopefully, I can discuss the future of consoles and gaming in general in an upcoming show. We'll see.

Owning a Wii is not all it's cracked up to be. I've had the thing since early November (2006) and the only game purchased for it was Zelda:TP (purchased the day I got the Wii)...
After our move, the only game console I've had a reason to pull out of the box and hook up was to play the GODFATHER game on PS2... LOL! And I haven't even FINSHED Zelda:TP on the Wii yet!!! Either I'm lazy or demented or the Wii just isn't that exciting or neccessary. hehe. So shoot me.
Edit: don't get me wrong here folks, I LOVE the Zelda series to death and back, and I don't hate BigN... I just think the shiny splendor of the Wii console has faded. Should I trade it in for a 360 and get Z:TP on GC? Mwahhahaha.....!!!!

I'll be honest, haven't touched my Wii in 2 months. With all the crap that's been going on with my computer, getting the show out on time, personal and family issues, and getting finished with school, don't have the time that I would like to sit down and play the Wii. Still only have the Wii Sports and Zelda. I'm sure once I have a steady job, that'll change, and hopefully, the selection of games will get better. Seeing a lot of games that aren't up my alley, ya know.
Love the Zelda Wii game, myself. We have got to review that soon.....for real this time. HAHA
