Sam & Max- Hit the Road- Full Version

I might as well say, Matt and I downloaded Sam & Max- Hit the Road, for the PC. Made by Lucasarts, we got the floppy version, so it doesn't come with the full voiceover soundtrack with the voices of Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson voicing Sam and Max.

If anyone knows where we can find the Full CD version of Sam and Max, without actually paying for it (I know, I'm bad), let me, or Jakdin know.

Matt would like to review it..

Good choice, I've never played any of the games and would be interested in a review.

To find a full version, I'd try any of the bittorrent sites.

www.torrentspy.com is the one I use quite a bit.

Ooh, forgot to mention, I'm not too keen on torrents. I can't speak for Matt, though, but I haven't had much luck getting those torrents to work right. Me am dumb. Wink

I used to hate torrents. Then I figured out how to use them lol. I'll keep an eye out and see if I can find anything "non-torrent".
Strider

Hope this helps.

Yeah....torrent. Damn. Don't have a program that deals with torrents, but...I dunno, let me see if I can find a program.

If there's a non-torrent version, meaning zipped up, that'd be great....mmkay. Wink

ok, got BitLord, and clicked the link you provided. I'll see if something is happening now.

I wouldn`t know where to find a zipped up one iv only ever used Torrents. If you need a Torrent program use Utorrent I find it the best one out of all of them.

Downloaded the Full CD version of Sam and Max, and for some reason, still not getting the speech samples under ScummVM. Won't run under DosBox, so I gave up. We'll look into other PC games, or something more classic. Just played a round of "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego" on DosBox. Great stuff!

Old games are quite the pain when it comes to playing on new computers these days.

I'm looking for the same deal with Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis...
