Review of Mickey's Christmas Carol?

Just watched it with Steph (my girl), and I thought "it'd be cool to review it". Well, I downloaded the cleanest copy I could find, and would love to review it for the December show.

Does anyone like Mickey's Christmas Carol?

I will admit, I'm sorta Anti-Disney, and will make that known in the review, but the only thing I will watch is this. It was done in the 80's, when the animation didn't suck.

Even though I've only seen bits and pieces of previous incarnations of "A Christmas Carol", it's Mickey's Christmas Carol that I fondly remember growing up, and even at age 30, I still love it.

We got another review for GNG lined up as well, but we could use some holiday themed reviews, ya think? Wink

Its worth noticing that there is ONE original voice amongst all the characters.
The voice of Donald Duck was still voiced back then by Clarence Nash.

This was the last time Donald Duck was ever voiced by the original voice actor.

Some might point out Scrooge McDuck yet he was also voiced by a new voice actor (though the guy who originally voiced McDuck only did it for one episode only).

Interesting choice there, John. I don't blame you for being 'Anti-Disney' these days. (You can't go into a mall without seeing Miley Cyrus' face plastered everywhere.) I wouldn't mind seeing this reviewed for the show. I use to have some respect for Disney before they devolved into a mouthpiece for the  'teenybopper' industry, and it's rare that VMTV covers anything that's Disney related. As long as this doesn't lead to a review of 'Herbie Fully Loaded', i'm okay with it. (Well, maybe you can review it for 'Trailer Trash' someday. Wink )

I think 'Mickey's Christmas Carol' marked the first time that Alan Young voiced Scrooge, though i read somewhere that Young did Scrooge's voice for a Christmas album that Disney made a few years prior. After 'Christmas Carol', Will Ryan voiced scrooge in 'Sport Goofy's Scoccermania', but it wasn't the same. So Alan Young came back, and had a wonderful stint as Scrooge Mcduck on 'Ducktales'.

Yeah, I also want to review I know Who Killed me, too.

HAHAHAHHA, sorry, I couldn't finish that up without laughing hysterically.

No Herbie Fully Loaded anytime, ever.
