No, I guess I'm not.
Still, I'd like to see him do something good again. I know he does those Scary Movie ... movies but that just seems like a parody of himself. If he did something serious, maybe return to the kind of roles he used to do (like in the original Forbidden Planet) it might be worthwhile - a good change to end his career with. I guess it kind of reminds me of Steve Martin. Steve Martin is a great comedian and has personally given me many good memories. However these days he seems to do bad family comedies and bad Peter Sellers impressions. I was really happy when he did 'Shop Girl' a couple of years back, which was based on his book. It was a change from his usual stuff but it was a great movie and he truly earned back respect with it. I'd like to see Leslie Nielsen challenge us again, present us with something he hasn't done before. Anyway, back on topic: This movie will suck. |
