jes, at the rate bad remakes are coming out. i wouldn't be surprised if Disney throws the cast of High School Musical, throw in Miley Cyrus, and do a remake of the godfather. This is so fucking sad |

Look at it this way.
You got an already test working formula that you know works that will whit 95% accuracy give you money. On the other hand You could try a "New Idea" unfortunately it has a lot less chance of actually working and its FAR from even remotely sure that it will earn enough money. Now being the money machine Hollywood has become what would you bet on the safe road or the unsecured one? |

The video game industry is just as guilty when it comes to trying a "new idea" than going with what (unfortunately) has worked all these years.
As we've all been saying, they're all afraid to take chances, so they go with what works, and what will bring in money. They know some people are dumb enough to buy it. |
