Miner's New Project

I figured John has spammed enough forums with his show so it's payback time [/joking]

We would like to introduce you all to a new retrogaming podcast that will be getting underway this February.

Scott Schreiber (aka Subarubrat), Mike James (aka Miner2049er) and Mike kennedy (aka SoCalMike) are going to be starting a new retrogaming podcast aptly called RetroGamingRoundup. We are dedicated to producing a monthly show focused on and around classic video gaming.

Episodes will include classic gaming editorials, gaming guru interviews, monthly top-10 lists, technical Q & A, Scott’s familiar Hardware Flashback, gaming reviews, user submitted news and questions and lots more.

You can listen to our Premier Episode sometime in February 09’. In preparation of our podcast, we have started a simple website, which you can find at http://www.RetroGamingRoundup.com. Please visit our site and get familiar with it as we hope you make this a permanent destination while surfing the net. In addition, please help us spread the word of what we believe will be the definitive retrogaming podcast anywhere.

Also, we will be sharing forum space with ChaseTheChuckwagon.com. The RetroGamingRoundup Forums are now active and sitting towards the bottom of the forum page. Please visit our forums, register if you haven’t already and let’s start discussing retrogaming. Direct link: ChaseTheChuckwagon Forums

One final mention. If you run across any interesting retrogaming news or web sites or have hardware oriented technical questions please email this information to us at news@retrogamingroundup.com / techquestions@retrogamingroundup.com. This information will be discussed in our monthly episodes.

I hope to see some new faces in our forums and the three of us look forward to delivering you quality retrogaming content each and every month.

We thank you,

Miner2049er

Oh, so THIS is the show I read about on Shane's forum.

This is GREAT, fellas. Now that I have an idea about what the show is, I'll definitely be tuning in.

Feel free to pimp the show on here anytime you want to. You're all more than welcome to. Wink

Keep everyone posted on the premiere episode (including me, hehe)

Great intro, where did you get the voices from?

That's what we need, I get tired of using robotic stiff voices. Now I'm using some voice generator over at AT&T.

A voice over guy that SoCalMike knows. Better ask him.

The rest of you guys should come join these forums, pimp the show, and all.

Got it. I could never do 300 minute shows. When I did the radio show, it was always under 80 minutes, and 85% of it was music, so there ya go.

Keep on truckin, fellas.
