Journey Video GamesLong before 'Guitar Hero', and 'Rock Band' successfully brought rock 'n roll music into the world of video games, there were many attempts to giving certain music stars their own games from Michael Jackson, to Britney Spears. (shudders) One of the earliest attempts at giving a musical act their own video game was Journey. In 1982, Journey received their first game called 'Journey Escape'. Here, you go around avoiding lovesick groupies, and shifty promoters. The following year, Midway produced a 'Journey' arcade game to coincide with their summer tour. This game featured superimposed photographs of the band members' faces with digital sprite bodies, and had each band member in their own level finding musical instruments.
