Well, I enjoy the show alot and I like the game reviews, but the aspect of movies and DVDs also interest me as much.
Maybe a separation of the Movies, DVDs, and Television from the main show each month and an expansion on them?
There is allways alot of missed films that come out each month and more of a focus on them would really interest me.
Best example is the film Return of the Ghostbusters. I would of never knew about it if it was not for the show.
A separate 15 min (or so) focus more on Film and DVDs would be an interesting venture.

Welcome to the forums, friend!
Interesting idea. Just the regular show keeps us busy as hell though!

Hey Grimmling, welcome.
I love your idea, though as Black Flag pointed out, doing the regular show is already a huge chore, and we've been delivering the shows late these days.
However, I am very interested in talking about DVD's and movies more. I agree that there are lots of movies that we haven't covered yet. Believe me, I would love to review Iron Man or Indy 4, two movies that I'm planning on seeing.
As far as the time length you speak of, eh. Kinda hard. As stated, each show has been 30 minutes or higher. It would still be a long show even without my boring ass rants.
We will be taking time off from VMTV in June and July. If I get the urge to pump out a show, I might just do this little side project like this. May not be 15 minutes, but we'll see what happens.
Thanks for your idea. We're glad to have you on the forums. Keep the ideas comin.

Its nice to see new forum members. Hello thegrimmling. You could always try it out and see what happens.

Well, my idea was more for the films online and direct to DVD rents. And I kind of figured that you see alot of films that never make it to the regular show anyways.
But a summer show as a more DVD one might be smart seeing that is the time of year with less game release.

It would be an interesting side project, though there's that time constraint, and the fact that the 2 months we have off are to both relax and start brainstorming Season 3.

But wait, your not the only reviewer, why not allow a "side project" where your contributor to take control?
Either way, new content IS new contrnt. and even say 2 weeks off from whent he regular GMtv episodes are posted, a "filler" content that is current would be nice.
You could start it as a "rough cut" project where it is a spin off. I would offer my services, but due to college and my exwife, I fallen WAY behind on movies that pass under the radar long ago.
BTW, was the zombie film Fido any good?

Well, many of us have our own lives and jobs in-between shows, one of the reasons why you don't see much of Matt Rau these days. He is very busy, but does want to be part of the show.
The problem with side projects that are associated with VMTV is overlooking things to see how it's progressing, and that it's the same quality people have come to expect from us.
Let's see what happens over the summer. We won't be hard at work, but we will all exchange ideas back and forth for the new season. If we have time in-between, who knows what might happen?
Season 3, I'm thinking, will be different. Things will change a bit here and there. It won't be an unrecognizable show, so don't worry.
