I hate mailboxesHad to make two rants in one night
Ok so you either have a mailbox a mile away from your house or a rusty mailbox connected to your house. Both death traps for the mailman. If you have one far away from your house you have to walk across the street to get your mail. And garanteed you live on a busy street. So youre walking across the street and you have to run to the mailbox before you get hit by a car and then once you get to the mailbox your screwed for like 2 hours. The insane people have mailboxes on there property, and it's always like a cow shape or something, it's always wooden. Yeah if your a mailman don't deliver to those houses you'll get blown to smitheriens. If the mailbox is attached to the house then theres gonna be like black widows and rust and crap in it, dangerous mailboxes are scary.
Then you get crap mail in the mailboxes that are attached to the house.
But if your mailbox is gold watch out you might get a letter that says chuck norris is near. Speaking of Chuck Norris I've never seen a mailbox in the shape of Chuck Norris. But anyway no mailbox is safe.
Sorry if I offended anyone this was all for fun.

You must have it out for Chuck Norris, dude.
My mailbox is right outside the front door, on the wall on the porch. When my wife and I (when I was married) used to live with her parents, their mailbox was about a mile or so down their driveway. So you did have to watch for traffic, but at least I don't recall ever getting the wrong mail. Now that I'm back in NY, it's like that's all we ever get. Mail that belongs to someone next door. We're probably the only residents on our block without the last name of Chung, Chang, Wong, Wang, or Perez. So once we see one of those funky names, we yell at the mailman that he gave us the wrong mail. Apparently, the fella has got an issue with address numbers.
