Here's an idea- Shoot it down if you want.

It occurs to me that to not knock myself out doing both a TV and radio show, why not do them both with the same content?

For instance, if you watch (on Google) a video review to Robotron, you can hear a more detailed review on the radio show. The same if you hear a review from a previous episode, like Redneck Rampage for the P.C.

I'm thinking that might be something interesting to try, at least once. So what I will try to do for the month of June, since this is the first of the month...whatever reviews you hear/watch will be playing on Google/VMR.

Everybody got that?

As far as my commentaries, it's possible, maybe a condensed version for the TV show, considering with radio, I get to read from the script. for live action,I have to memorize what I'm going to say...unless I wing it.

We'll see what happens for this month, but let me know if you support or disapprove of the idea. Though I'd still like to dish out at least one TV episode for Google.

I'm fine with that. As long as you go all out (maybe you hold back a bit because we can see you) and don't do reviews of games that everybody in the universe and beyond Smile has completed twice, then i'm watching/listening for sure!!

I think every review I've done on radio has been reviewed to death. I just like offering my take on the game. There could be a game out there that everyone loves the crap out of, but that I could hate for obvious reasons.

I'll try to cut back on the old reviews, but I think it's important for this generation of gamers who started with Donkey Konga rather than the original arcade Donkey Kong, to see what they missed in the glory days of gaming. That's really what the "retro" reviews are all about. To let the young players know that this is gaming's past, and it was good, and to show the older generation that the good ol' days are not forgotten. There are some who remember Coleco, and Intellivision, and all that. Today's kids may never have heard of it, and they would take one look at Mr. Do on the coleco and say "my god, that's horrible. That's nothing like Super (fill in the blank) for the DS.

The short version of this is some will like, if not love, classic reviews. Others will hate it, and want newer material.

We are not a show (TV and Radio) that tells people what new games are out, or show you some technology that'll let you use your DS as a Universal Remote for your TV.

We WILL, however, like to give the viewing audience of the TV show, a game tip for a more modern game, like an X-box or a PS2 game, not to please a certain gaming group, but because I don't feel like digging through an SNES code book and do tips I've done 18 times. I'm not going to come on camera and say "here's a hot tip for Super Mario World".

In the past, we did about 4-6 game tips per show. It'll most likely be taken down to 1 or 2 tips a show, preferrably spread out, so we can squeeze in reviews for games, movies, etc. I'm working on changing the format of the old TV show, and will collaborate with my co-creator to see what else we can add to it. We'll see what happens.

As for the June show of VMR, all the music and stuff is good to go. The reviews and other material will be added over the next 2-3 weeks, thus, the show will be released in a timely matter, and hopefully, will coincide with the 1st episode of VMTV in a good 7 years.

Yeah, the younger/newer gamers. Forgot about them, sorry...
As for the tips; if i'm really stuck then there is always gamefaqs. Because mostly the game you're giving tips for isn't what i'm playing at that time. Maybe in the olden days when there were fewer titles it could be better but today with this back catalogue of thousands of games it's not that usefulll i think. Let the guys at gamefaqs do what they are best at and you do what you are best at.
