I have been a big fan of his for years. Hearing this news this morning made my heart sink. He, much like my godfather, Paul, and Shane Monroe of Retro Gaming Radio, was one of my heroes.
Had absolutely NOTHING to do with the foul language. It was other things. He's not afraid to tell it like it is, I admire that.
I wish I got a chance to meet him, shake his hand. He was a pretty big influence on my life.
George, miss ya, man.

I guess he'll finally meet 'the invisible man who lives in the sky', huh? But seriously, this is sad news. Carlin was always fun to watch. Very creative, and always had something to say. Thanks for the laughs, George.

Man, we almost went to see him in Salt Lake City before we left. My favorite comedian ever.
