Gameboy Color Backlight (is it possible?)

Hi,
Just wondering does anyone know anything about Backlighting a Gameboy Color. I've looked around the internet. I've read alot of stuff that says it's impossible either because it's an LCD screen or because there's too little room inside for the light. It could be possible though. Wasn't there a backlight kit for the original GBA?
It's just I'm thinking of buying a GBC to play my old games on. I know I could get an SP but I'd really like a GBC for some reason (but I'm not so keen on crouching beside a lamp).
Any help would be appreciated.

Also on a somewhat related note, here's a list of stuff I'd like and what I'm willing to trade for it. I live in Ireland so most of what I have for trade is PAL (but i'll take stuff from any region).

Yes, it is possible. I read an article of a company that created a Faux backlight. It does void the warranty though. I can't remember the name of the site.
