Game Series you Love but Could Never Get into the 1'st Title
For me it's Metroid. I LOVE Metroid. I've made it a goal to own every Metroid game in existince, but to be honest I don't like the original Metroid. I like the game, it's fun but it's more fustrating than challenging. I'm not going to really bash it though because it's a classic and I like fighting Mother Brain.

The original Metroid rocked. Didn't play much or any of the second Metroid on the Gameboy. Played Super Metroid for years. We featured it quite a number of times in the older shows from the 90's.
All the other games, the newer or more recent ones, didn't get around to fully playing. I did own Metroid Prime for Gamecube for a few months, got part-way through, and then I sold it. I do have Metroid Fusion, and Zero Mission on my GBA emulator, loaded it up, but don't have a lot of time to invest in it.
Murder Legendre
Halo.

For me, it's Jedi Knight. I loved Jedi Knight, Mysteries of the Sith and the last two sequels but I never really got into Dark Forces.
I don't mind older PC games. I have played a bunch of early FPS but for some reason I could never get into Dark Forces, something about the atmosphere of the game.
I think I should give it another try.

You should by Prime again. Once you beat the rock golem boss the game starts to pick up pace.
