First games you played on the Super Nintendo?

I lived off of :Zelda Link to the past, Zombies ate my neighbors, super mario world, mario all stars, castlevania IV and Donkey Kong Country.

I faintly remember playing Lemmings, cool spot, golf (can't remember which one), there are others but I can't remember them. Keep in mind I was only 4 when the nintendo came out. Never had the pleasure of getting to own many games.

My nintendo had broken when I was little and never replaced it till about 4 months ago. How awful is that. So if you have any great recommendations my ears are open!

So let me see if I'm reading this correctly. Your Nintendo (meaning NES) broke when you were young (figure around 1980 something) and you didn't replace it until 4 months ago?? or 4 months later?? Wink

If it's 4 months ago, who still fixes NES systems? lol

I think I still own Mario All Stars, Zelda, Mario World, Castlevania 4, but sold Donkey Kong Country. hehe

The first game I ever played on the Super Nintendo was Street Fighter II. The first character I ever played as was Dhalsim. It's kind of weird that I remember that.

It was at a friends house. I had a mega drive (genesis) back in those days. We did get a SNES later on though, when it was late in its lifetime and I've been building a collection ever since - I'm up to about 20 Cartridges now but I do have alot of games on floppy disc too.

You sold Donkey Kong Country? Why man? I know it's mostly flash - the innovation is all in the graphics - but it is a fun game. It's the only game my parents would play back in the day.

Sorry for the confusion. I have a habit of calling every game system a nintendo. God, ever sense before I can remember. I was referring to the super nintendo. I had it for about 6-8 years before my mom had broken it. She promised to buy me a new one. That was when I was 12 roughly. About four months ago ( june or july 2007) I bought one off e-bay. I am still bidding on some games.

I remember my uncle had a nintendo(80's) and he had a bunch of games and I am pretty sure I played most of them. I do remember playing a game that had a kid on a bike throwing newspapers. Thats the only one I remember though. I had to have been like three years old.

Let's see, there was Super Battleship, Wing Commander, and Super Star Wars. I got the SNES late in it's lifespan so I only got about 10 or 12 games for it and 3 of them were Star Wars.

Up until about 1-2 months ago, you could still send in your NES to Nintendo themselves and pay for them to repair them.

Anyway, back on topic, my first games were probably Super Mario World (obviously), Stunt Race FX, Sunset Riders, and TMNT: Turtles in Time.

Oh yeah and Gradius 3! I still love that one! I had a buddy who had Pilotwings and I think it was the very first SNES game I played.

For me, it was 'Super Mario World', which came with the Super NES when we first got it.

I'll start a wrestling topic in the general forum. Lets try and keep this on the topic of first SNES games.

Anyway, back on topic. I played Super Mario RPG a TON on my SNES. It was probably the third game I played on that system.

Oh, we're all known to drift off topic now and again. The NES game Wreslemania was in my collection for a number of years. Bam Bam Bigelow, Honky Tonk Man, Andre the Giant, etc. Didn't see those guys in Super Wrestlemania on the SNES.

Video game classics.

Wrestlefest and WWF superstars are great arcade games.
