I just got a $50 Atari Jaguar off Ebay. I plan on doing reviews for it, as soon as I can get a game for it.

I wanted to know if anyone had a chance to play this system back then, even though it's not a classic system, it's not really modern, either. It's in-between, I guess.

Any thoughts on the system?

Well, if the more halfway decent overlooked gems showed up on Jaguar, then by all means go for it.

I bid on "Evolution: Dino Dudes" and "Trevor McFur". Looks interesting, even if they both end up being good, or sucking, that should provide good entertainment. Prices are reasonable for the games.

The Jaguars on Ebay were going for hundreds of dollars, so it's a good thing I found one in good condition. I forgot how the controllers looked. Damn, that's big.

Just bid on a Sega Saturn, too. If I win, fine. If not, I won't lose sleep. But this particular auction comes with 40 games, including the dreaded "Street Fighter: The Movie". hahahahaha

Don't think so. My Max bid was $20, so a couple of people tried to outbid me, and I'm up to $15.50 now, and there's still 8 or so days left to go. I wouldn't mind having 40 games for a "new" system. If they all suck, you guys would have been in for some really good shows.

I really wanna review that Street Fighter: The Movie game, just to tear it apart.

Not a whole lot of Jaguar games. It's all fighting and RPG crap. No platformers...at least being sold on Ebay. I'll have to do a search for all the Jaguar games ever made. See what they have. Otherwise, there won't be much coverage of this system.

The arcade version of 'Street Fighter: The Movie' was slightly different from it's console counterpart. Plus, the console version has this really bad music video that you get after beating the game.

Well, I don't mind owning a bad game. I can't exactly rent these games anywhere anymore. hehe.

Maybe this will give you some ideas. Personally I would go for the Bruce Lee game. But with Jaguar, can you really be picky?

I'm not sure if you like First Person Shooters, but Alien vs Predator is one of the most popular Jaguar games.

I've been meaning to hunt down a Jag myself so see what it offers.

I wouldn't mind looking at AvP sometime. I'll try to get it off of Ebay during our summer break.
