Well, I just bought the 6 part Dr. Doom story that was made into an 80+ minute movie.
I used to have this on VHS, but when I moved back to NY, I think I left it at my in-laws house. But I'll be getting the original quality version of it.
Here's the link to where I found it. Anyone remember the clamshell VHS cases?
I kinda remember this series, but just barely. It was produced around the same time as 'Amazing Friends' was. In fact, it was sort of a prequel series to 'Amazing Friends'. Also, it was the first series from Marvel Productions. Which was originally the Depatie-Freleng studio until Marvel purchased it in 1980.
Man, what a disappointment. Originally, I was going to review this Spidey toon, where they took the Dr. Doom story and made it into a movie. I thought I ordered it on Ebay, but I have reason to believe I only ordered one episode, as it turns out.
This is what I was hoping for. Would be considered part 1 of the story.
Oh well.

I just learned that the reason why Dr. Doom was featured in this particular series was mostly due to the popularity of Darth Vader from 'Star Wars'. Even though Doom is traditionally a 'Fantastic Four' villain.
