We talked about this in the last show, Erik. But it was the classic cartoons. I'm sure everyone here is aware that many kids are dumb enough to imitate what they see on TV today.
Just read the news link. Kid looks like the hyper type, as described by one of the neighbors. What I don't get is none of these kids realized burying a kid head first in sand is not only stupid, but dangerous!!! Donating his organs? Should I even go there? |

Classic cartoons modern cartoons itīs all the same.
The end result will properly be the cartoons will be blamed for the death of their ohh so perfect kid. Instead of actually admitting that keeping an eye on the kid or havening some people keep an eye on them might have been a better idea. And that the cartoons and television series had NOTHING to do whit the kids actions. |

Not so. There's a big difference between the old and new cartoons. You have to admit, some cartoons have matured, some have just been dumbed down for today's ADHD generation. That end result is characters with cheap, Japanese animation, dubbed in English, and is as flashy as today's modern video games. | ||

Yes they might have but in the end they are the same.
In the fact that some parents are always quicker to blame the cartoons and tv-shows, for any harm their kids do to themselves rather than thinking, that perhaps all the kid really needed in the first place was for his/her parents to knock some sense into his/her head. And if that didnīt work well maybe the IQ of wasnīt the greatest to begin whit. |

Anyone can have kids my friend, not everyone can be a parent. If it wasn't Naruto, it would have been TMNT or wrestling. It's a sad story but it's an isolated incident. This is one case out of how many millions of kids that watch this stuff? |

The sad part is that when animation is attacked, the actual animation folks are defenseless, and most of these corporations cave to pressure. Yet the music industry can defend every rapper, or pop star till the cows come home with the excuse, 'well that's art'. Proving once, and for all that America still thinks that animation must always be 'kids stuff', and that music is art that cannot be regulated no matter what. | ||

Reminds me of a chase in Sweden where two guys killed a girl by imitating Power Rangers.
Well what happen simple everything whit power rangers was removed from Sweden. |

Perhaps but the point is the same because some Idiots couldnīt distinguish between reality and fiction, it was the show who was blamed not the idiots. |
