I thought it might be a good idea to review some incarnation of 'Flash Gordon'. Be it the 1980 feature film, the animated cartoons, the old movie serial from the 40's, or the current Sci-Fi Channel series. _________________ If it's got wings, i can crash it!
I would love to do that, actually. I do have the 1940 serials on DVD. I just need a slightly better version of the 80's movie. The cartoon from the 70's might be harder to get ahold of, though I do think Defenders of the Earth might be at Midtown Comics in the city. I'll take a look when I'm feeling better, and have time on the weekend. _________________ John R. Gibson

I think the 80's movie got a 'special edition' recently with the cover art done by Alex Ross.
And BCI did release Filmation's 'Flash Gordon' series on DVD as well.
