Ok, basically what we're doing here is voting for the best Spider-Man voice, but only in the animated series field. This does not include ANY video games, although Rino Romano (Spider-Man Unlimited) did voice Spidey in the Playstation games. So I don't want people telling me I forgot to include the live action spider-Men, like Tobey Maguire, Nicholas Hammond, and whoever that fella was in the Japanese Spidey series.

Chris Barnes, maybe I'm biased since I grew up watching that version but he still sounds best.

I still have those Spidey toons on tape, from the very first episode (second showing), but I did watch it the first time. My very first exposure to animated spidey was Ted Schwartz, and it was a 6 part episode made into a straight to video movie. In it, he fights Dr. Doom. So maybe I'm the biased one in the room. I think it's safe to say I liked each voice equally. There were good and bad things about the voices.

I have to say, watching that video, Iceman has the best voice of all Wink

He does the voice of Ray on The Real Ghostbusters TV show.

And let's not forget Dr. Claw on Inspector Gadget, and Megatron on Transformers. Frank Welker has a voice over list 80 miles long. Great voice actor! I did run into the voice of Firestar at a Comic con. You'd never put the face on the voice, or any voice for that matter. you always have a sense of what a voice over artist looks like, sometimes.

ok i was on youtube and ran across a live japanese version of spider man and it was ok at first but they gave him a car and ok get ready for this they gave him a giant air craft that turns into a giant robot! imean come on thats to far if he has a giant robot what need does he have for his super human powers all he has to do is stomp on them

If it's Japanese, it has to have a giant robot. But I'm not complaining, I love that stuff. *laughs*

I have seen full episodes of the Japanese Spidey. Just looking at the scene in the intro where he calls his robot, I thought I was looking at the inspiration for Power Rangers.

So no one likes Rino Romano as Spider-Man? He did the voice for Spidey in the 2 playstation games.
