I'm currently going through my mp3 files for VMR, and am finding clips that I forgot about, and/or never used for the show. For instance, an intro for Episode 7, which featured both myself and Josh (refer to the Sonic Rant) doing the opening. Thought I deleted that. There's lots of things on here. Unused intros, openings, clips, segments, so on, so forth. I'm wondering something here:

If I were to start selling the VMR episodes on CD's, (which means cleaner tracks, and you can skip to the track you want), would you want me to include a bonus disk that included these lost tracks? I guess I should first ask if anyone is willing to BUY an episode first?

Perhaps to wet your appetite, I should make available one file (pr
perhaps all ) of an unused clip on the site. How bout it?

Here's how I look at this:

Retrojunk.com is where I get the majority of the TV and Cartoon themes, and a few commercials.
the Overclocked Remix site is where I get the video game remixes.

There is no disclaimer of any kind that says I can't use their remixes, or that I have to ask permission. Then again, these people didn't take into account someone would use this material to put together a radio show. That's really the main reason I remember to acknowledge where I get most of my material for the show at the end. Before, I didn't. I figure I can't take credit for doing all this stuff myself. I gotta give credit where it's due.

So unless there's some message on these sites saying I can't use a remix or commercial, or whatever unless I pay for it in some way, then I think we're OK. Smile

Oh, by the way, today, I put all the VMR unused clips into their own folder. Altogether, we're talking about 200mb of unused stuff, but what really puts it over the top is the unedited Bitch Rant from Episode 21, clocking in at over 100mb. Little things that were originally meant to be in the very first show never quite made it.

I might either make a section of unused clips on the site, or make it available for purchase as a bonus C.D.
