Post what you're currently reading. Let's go, people!
Pitt (Image/Full Bleed)- The project of Dale Keown, who worked on the Incredible Hulk for Marvel, Pitt is a hybrid human/alien super soldier. Aliens called The Creed abducted Pitt's biological human mother and took one of a pair of twin embryos. The other embryo (Pitt's brother) is a 9 year-old boy named Timmy. I've always loved the "kid with a pet monster" stories and the art is freakin bad-ass.
Captain America #600 and Captain America: Reborn (Marvel)- Just got these today. #600 is a thick-ass comic! It has several stories one of which sets up the return of Steve Rogers, the original Captain America. This is continued in Reborn which just came out today. I dig it. Welcome back, Cap.
The Walking Dead Volume 1 and 2 (Image)- Outstanding zombie-outbreak comic. It took me a while to getting around to reading this, but it's a lot of fun if you're you're down with the undead. _________________ "One of God's own prototypes. You should review those comics, either drunk or sober. Either way, it'll be entertaining. _________________ John R. Gibson

I got into comics recently so there isn't much I have read. Lets see: Buffy the Vampire Slayer season eight, Walking Dead, Angel, Laurell K. Hamiltons Anita Black series, Pitt, Cival War and Punisher Vol.2 1-12. _________________ "Like my mask? Isn't it pretty? It raises the dead!" -Giles
Star Wars... I need to continue reading those things!
Yes you do. I envy the hell outta you for those. They're quite pricey to track down..
I started reading the newer run of Punisher War Journal:
In issues 7-12, Frank dons the mask of the recently slain Captain America and goes down to Mexico to take out these neo-nazi assholes. I love The Punisher/Captain America costume:
Also, I can't get enough Pitt. I got Hulk vs. Pitt the other day. The guy who came up with Pitt worked on the Hulk before, so a crossover was natural. I dig it.

One day, I'm just gonna dump my entire collection of comics onto the floor, and just start picking them up, and just spouting off crap about what I remember about it.
Odds are I've got some interesting stories. For instance, the more obscure titles I usually got for 50 cents at a local comic store of years ago. They usually had two obscure comics sealed up in a brown paper bag. You didn't know what was in there until you bought em, and took em home.
Many is the time that I was saving up money to buy the comics from off the walls. X-Men, Hulk, Spider-Man. There was a 1967 (I think) issue. It featured The Prowler. The price was 30-40 bucks. I took it home, only to find someone had cut out one of the ads or coupons or whatever, which took like an 8th of a page. Apparently, these comics were not checked first before accepting them, or the guy (Mike) just didn't think it was a big deal, and could turn a profit anyway. _________________ John R. Gibson

Excellent! Matt and I are always the comic book guys, so I'd love to see you do that.

That's the reason it was 40 bucks. If it had been in better condition, the price would have double or tripled. Some of my earliest Marvel Comics are like that too. Oh well, I only got them so I would have a few that were ACTUALLY written by Stan Lee and drawn by Jack Kirby or Steve Ditko. _________________ "One of God's own prototypes. I might just show that one off. I think I still have it in my file cabinet thing. _________________ John R. Gibson

I bought most of my collection between 1990-1993. I'd hit up yardsales and flea markets plus I'd buy out my friends collection when they didn't want them anymore. I now have over 900 comics. I've been reading through some old stuff that I've never got around to before.
Guardians of the Galaxy- Like a knock-off outerspace version of the Avengers set in the 31st century. Only have issue #1 and #25. Some of the characters are better than others but I was suprisingly entertained by this. Issue #25 features the Silver Surfer and Galactus.
The Falcon- He's a former Avenger and he patrols Harlem. He's sort of a social worker to the troubled youth which gets a little tiresome, but there's some decent fights. In this 4 issue series, Electro shows up and causes trouble in the hood. The books are full of early 80's slang, ya dig?
