I just read the Real Super Mario Bros thread and I thought of starting a new thread with the premise "Are American idiots?". The best example of this is Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (In Japan it's called Final Fantasy USA). This was like Kirby's Adventure on the NES--I beat it over the weekend. At least Kirby was suppose to be easy. Final Fantasy II (FF IV in Japan) was dumbed down here.

If you think this stops at video games, think again! We get the bad end of the Video Game Deal stick! In Japan, when you preordered Sonic Adventure you got a limited edition game (It's gold colored) and the laser etched Sonic Resin Cube (I wish I could find a picture to shoe you, it's sweet!). Thankfully that's ended when Working Designs released Lunar: Eternal Blue with a Omake box with a cloth map a nice bookelet and Lucia's pendant! I just preordered MGS IV for the goodies!

Maybe I should call myself the Video Game Ranter!
