It came out on Xbox Live and PSN this week.
I'm really impressed with this version of the game.

Capcom have been shamelessly rereleasing Street Fighter II with various subtitles and speed changes for the last 14/15(?) years. It's a great game but until now there hasn't been anything that made me want to upgrade from my 'Street Fighter II Turbo' SNES cart.
But this version is definitely different enough to warrant a purchase.

The graphics are amazing (I think they're done by the Udon comics guys who do the Street Fighter comics) and the sound has been completely remixed by fans at Ocremix (I really like that fans were involved in this. Capcom are good at acknowledging their fans).
The only problem I have with it, music-wise, is the remix of Guile's stage. That was always my favourite music in the original game and in this version it feels kind of watered-down and less powerful.

The moves are surprisingly easy to do. I used to think it was impossible to hadouken on a 360 pad but now that I'm used to it, I don't really have any problems. I still have no idea how to Yoga Teleport, though.
I've also heard that the characters have been balanced alot better. I haven't checked too much into this but it feels good, either way.

It's based on the Dreamcast version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo, which was the best home version being nearly Arcade perfect. The only bad thing about this is that there aren't as many frames of animation as there would be in later games, like SF3. You don't really notice this in the gameplay but it's clearly visible in the backgrounds. They look fine to me but I guess as a 'new' game, the animation is a bit basic and choppy in the background.

Anyway, I'd definitely recommend this game. For me, it's probably the best version of SFII I've played.

Looks like a pretty clean game.

Everyone here knows they can submit a review of this if they have the game.

Right?

Right??

Wow. Looks nice.

I love Capcom, but how much more mileage can they get out of SFII?
