Most people know the Metal Gear series. How about a review of the original Metal Gear on the NES?

I've played and beaten all of the others minus this one. I did buy it at a yard sale a little while back just so I could own them all.

I remember Metal Gear on the NES!!! My brother and I got it for a present and we loved it so much!

It was a hard game. Very confusing as to what to do next. Still fun however!

It was a hard game.I think I was about 6 or 7 when I played this and didn`t have a clue.This goes for Platoon too for C64 didn`t have no idea what was going on lol.

I still remember Gamepro's codes for Metal Gear.

I have no idea what it means. The other I think was like a T1111 code.

Quite impressive remembering the codes. Only one I remember is the blood code for Mortal Kombat on the genesis.

Metal Gear has had it's ups and downs. Metal Gear was released in the US, but it was full of weird translations. Snake's Revenge was not a true Metal Gear because it was created by another programmer. The real sequel is in Japan. It would be nice to mention that to all the viewers that the atrocious second game was not the real sequel! Laughing
