Here's an overlooked superhero game that i think deserves a good review. 'Justice League Heroes' for the PS2 is a fun little title that follows the 'X-Men Legends' formula where you control DC's heavy hitters, and save the world from impending doom. While it dosen't exactly follow the look, and feel of the 'Justice League' cartoon series, the game's plot was created by series writer, Dwayne McDuffie. The voice actors from the cartoon aren't present here, but Ron Perlman (Who was the voice of Clayface on 'Batman:TAS') dose the voice acting duties for The Dark Knight in this game. 'Justice League Heroes' dose a pretty good job at emulating the 'X-Men Legends' style of gameplay. However, it's only limited to just two players, but that's okay. The game has seven main playable characters with six unlockable ones that you get later on. You can even level up your characters' skills, and powers. All in all, i'd say it's a pretty good game for DC fans since they usually get the short end of the stick as far as videogames go. Plus, it's the only recent game with Superman in it that dosen't suck.

I was wondering if this one was any good. It got some bad reviews when it came out. I loved X-men legends and REALLY loved Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Any game you play as Green Lantern, is for the win.

I think Hal is in the game as an unlockable character.

Hal is and always will be the best, however the default choice is John Stewart.  I believe that the unlockable content actually just has different outfits for John but there's downloadable content to play as Hal Jordan or Kyle Rayner

If you mean having Keaton, Kilmer, or Clooney as unlockables, you won't find them here. Your playing as Batman, not as the actors who've played him. You do get the classic blue, and grey Bat costume as an unlockable. Something that should please the Adam West fans out there.

If you are a fan of the Justice League, you will love this game. If you could care less, tread with caution. It is a solid game but has some glaring flaws (Why is Flash so Slow?"). And Zatanna is the last member instead of Aquaman (OK I undestand that Aquaman would be lame in this game, but why not Hawkgirl or Black Canary?). On the plus side, the unlockables are awesome. I enjoyed it.
