Just got one that has a 1gb memory card, complete with the works.

No games yet, but I'll work on that. Then I need to get a PSP to TV adapter, and we got some reviews.

That's great news.

I don't know a lot about PSP but I have been curious about 'Dracula X Chronicles' and 'Maverick Hunter X'. I've also heard that there's a good version of 'Street Fighter Alpha 3' on it but I honestly can't imagine playing Street Fighter with those buttons.

I'll definitely be looking forward to PSP reviews (no matter what the games are). It's probably the system I know the least about.

Ya know, with the DS, my fingers are too fat for the Y and B buttons, I have to use the X and A buttons. I'm hoping with the PSP, I can access all the buttons nice and easy. I don't know anything about the handheld myself. I do know that I won't have to take apart the unit to get TV out, or point the camera at the screen to do reviews.

With the DS, however, the only way you can do TV out is to open the sucker up, and do....stuff to it.

Now I gotta find out how to put videos on that small memory card. I don't think I have a slot that small on my computer for a memory card.

It's probably so simple, too. Guess I'll find out when it arrives. Should be arriving sometime next week.

Never mind, I got it yesterday. Been putting videos on it, as I have no games yet. I'll see about getting at least one game this week.

Might I suggest R-type Tactics? I'm a big Rtype guy and I wondered how that one turned out on the PSP.

Otherwise I say Castlevania.

Never got into the R-Type series, I'm afraid. Some of the fellas from the former Gamelife show suggested Loco Roco, or maybe God of War.

As long as it's not Lord of War with Nicolas Cage. Wink

Glad to hear you got one. I use mine whenever I'm at the coffee shop to access the internet. It's browser is pretty good. I finally got a 4G card for mine. (traded my 1G in towards it). So now I can have my music and a movie or two on the go. Have you tried God Of War. That game is awesome. The Star Wars games are pretty good. And The two Grand Theft Auto games are great.  Two programs I use to convert my DVD to MP4 are DVD shrink then XOOM for the PSP. A movie can take up about 300 mb A episode of a series about 200 mb. And the quality is still pretty good. G

PS.

Is yours the regular (Black) or the slim (White or Gray)

John

You said you were putting movies on your memory card. I'm curious what programs are you using to transfer them. As I mentioned in my last post I am using DVD shrink and X-OOM for the PSP. I even transfered acouple episodes of Video Masters over. Looks great. G
