Posted: Sep 08 2009 9:18 am Post subject: Got a NEW job!
Some of you may or may not know I've been unemployed for 3 months. Well, I managed to secure a job just last Saturday at the Titanic Exhibit in Manhattan, taking photos of guests who come in.
I know, it's a glorious job, hehe.
The hours change week to week, I believe, but I do get days off, so I have time to devote to the show, so not to worry, we'll still have monthly shows. In fact, the September episode is almost finished.
If any of you happen to be in the New York area, do come by. It's on West 44th street, and 8th ave, across from the Schubert Theater....or Theatre. _________________ John R. Gibson

It has its moments. I have yet to adjust to standing for 8 hours. My leg muscles still ache after 3 days. _________________ John R. Gibson

That's great, dude. How many hours a week are you getting?
If you were closer, Bree and I could've got you a job at Sears! lol _________________ "One of God's own prototypes. Too weird to live, too rare to die." --Hunter S Thompson Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

That awesome John, so glad to hear it! Isn't that the same exhibit that Jay and Grant investigated? _________________ Now you can become a fan of The Retro Machine on Facebook. That seems like an interesting place to work. Are you full time or part time? I can relate to the standing for 8 hrs. It takes like 2 weeks to get used too. Thats how long it took me when I got my first receiving job. _________________ "Like my mask? Isn't it pretty? It raises the dead!" -Giles

Kind of. Different location. I think they keep moving it around. From what I hear, the exhibit should be around until March. _________________ John R. Gibson

Full time. Right now, I'm enjoying my two weekdays off, then it's back to work on Friday. The hours change. It'll either be 12-8, 9:30-4, or 4-10 (closing).
My legs have healed, for now. Motrin and Tylenol need to be a better friend to me.
