Great review of some serious nostalgia. I used to have "Bombsweeper" which was dual screened and I played it before bed all the time. Now I play my DS before bed... Full circle.

If you haven't seen this before check out robotbling's "Greatest Inventor Ever" series on Gunpei Yokoi who created the Game & Watch. This is only part 1 and I really hope part 2 comes out sometime soon because it is entertaining and informative.

Glad you liked the review, man. Watchin the video now. Smile

What a way to make a segment, with a freaking game & watch. That's awesome. We need to do something like that.

For some reason, I feel that I wouldn't have had the same experience playing the G&W Galleries. While the gameplay is similar, the graphics just look.....odd. I'll stick with the original.

That is true. The galleries do lack a certain charm.

If you have a flash cart for your DS or you want to import the game, there is a Japanese Game & Watch Collection containing perfect ports of Oil Panic, Donkey Kong and Green House. It is a shame they only did those 3 but it plays excellent none the less.
