Wh wha What! What the bloody hell is that? I mean come on though i donīt live in america (i live in Denmark) even i can see the stupid thing in this.

Ohh no we canīt show guns in a movie ohh no no no that just wonīt do at all no.

Why do you people think the movies where rated? A movie rated M for mature (donīt know if Indiana johns is raded that way) isnīt exactly a movie you take little junior into the movies to see.

And even if you do, he or she isnīt gona give a danm about a few ekstra guns on the scene.

I mean i watch E.T when i was fairly young, i think it was in 1st or 2nd grade i watch it, and i personally never really notised the guns they where just there.

Nothing to be really concerned about or anything, honestly i think certain americans are to pussy for their own good about showing certain things on tv.
Now it wouldnīt be as bad if those Americans where your ordenary every day kind those whit nothing to say really.
Those kind of people you can just ignore if you want, but unfortuantly it would seem that those pussy people are those in power, and in the end that is what makes it sad.

I donīt know what do you guys think, is this censorship of the movies okay or are they going TOO far?

If they were that worried about showing guns in the trailer, wouldn't it make more sense to not show the dreaded 'gun clip' at all? That would save the 'geniuses' at marketing a whole lot of trouble. Rolling Eyes

Censorship! An excellent topic for a future show, possibly March. Smile

I should grab both trailers before someone pulls them completely off the internet.

Rolling Eyes Come on guys, you don't want the government telling you how to raise your kids? Downright unpatriotic. Big brother knows best right?

If you are dealing whit Censorship you canīt go around anime, it is one of the most censored cartoon media of our time.

And to show you what I mean look at this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%...on_episodes_removed_from_rotation

Pokemon we all know it seen the anime, seen the commercials, bought the t-shirt and so forth, yet look at this.

I mean come on if these episodes where cut out, what else have been altered and censored by the American censors?

Another great example of over censorship is One Piece.
In the anime every cigarettes what changed into lolipops, if there was a nudity scene well they got swimsuits drawn on them and every gun in the show was changed to a water pistol.

I remember hearing about a comic strip that illustrated quite nicely censorship, a anime guy comes in and the censors started to remove everything till only the skeleton remains, before they say okay you are ready for American tv.

Let's also not forget that the great cartoon shorts from the golden age of cinema have been brutalized by censorship since they migrated to television. If it's got cigars, cigarettes, racial stereotypes, black face gags, sexual enuendo, or even Hitler, expect it to get sliced up in the editing room.
