Remember U Force, the Power Glove, ROB? Sega had the Activator. None worked and most people had muscle strain. Oh wait, I forgot. There was a mind controller (In reality you raised your eyebrows to use the controller). You should review the failures and why we should toss it!

A Mind Controller? Hmm, don't remember that one. I remember U Force, the Power Glove (it's so bad), and ROB.

I had the Acclaim Wireless Remote. What a piece of shit that was. I wish I still had it for reviewing purposes. I thankfully still have my NES Max, which I used on that NES clone we reviewed recently.

We'll see if we can secure some of the NES's failed controllers and devices. Maybe do some skits with them, too.

I wish I could remember what it was called. It was a headband thing and it gave most people a headache.

I found it. It was called Mind Link and it was for the Atari 2600. The Article I found said that it was designed by Tom Palecki and was supposed to allow players to control the action with their thoughts. The controller was really a priomitive biofeedback device that measured the current generated by your forehead and transmitted it to an infrared sensor on the screen. In reality, you controlled the game by raising and lowering your eyebrows! Of course, everyone who used the controller got massive migraines. Two games were made for it, Bionic Breakthrough (A breakout clone) and Mind Maze. I found out this little gem of gaming absurdity in Game Informer Magizine issue 106 (Turok Evolution is on the cover). I found a fairly good picture of it. Here it is:

Ironically, an ad for that controler appeared in episode 4 of the show.

Jesus.  It actually sounds like someone made something worse than the power glove.

Had the power glove. Now Nintendo isn't in the habit of releasing crap hardware, but this thing was ass. Looked cool though.

Yeah it did look cool, kinda Robocop-ish, but i want to own one just to say i have one, never use it, but place it on my "wall of crappy things" along side my American Idol video games and Britney Spears dance dance revolution
