Good stuff, man. Rtype, Castlevania:SOTN, and Super Metroid, hell yeah!

OK, top 10 (I'll try not to pick all shmups!):

Freedom Fighters (PS2)

Ikaruga (Gamecube)

Sonic 2 (Genesis)

NHL 98 (PSX)

Disgaea (PS2)

Gradius V (PS2)

Strikers 1945 (PSX)

Castlevania IV (SNES)

Doom (PSX)

Age of Empires 2 (PC)

I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that'll do for now.

I've heard good things about Disgaea. I don't know anything about it though. It's some sort of strategy game? I'd definitely like to see a review of that one.

Maybe that can be arranged. It's often compared to FF Tactics but it's more like a PSX game by Atlus called Kartia.

Outstanding voice work, hand-drawn graphics, and unlimited replay value. I've put over 120 hours into that game. I love it and I'm not a big RPG guy.

I did!

Bree got me R-type Delta for my birthday. Just now got around to really spending some time with it. It really is one of the finest games I've ever played.

Also forgot Giga Wing 2 and Under Defeat on the Dreamcast. Yep more shmups!  Laughing

Make that over 160 hours. That's an absolutley retarded amount of hours put into one game... and I'm not done.

Love me some Disgaea.
